Southern Shores Canal Front Land Honestly, we couldn't have asked for more from you. You jumped on the project quickly, kept us well informed on what you were doing, advised us on the need to bush hog and "had a guy" to do it for us at a reasonable price, moved us through the offer/counter-offer process expeditiously and hooked us up with a great legal service to close the sale. And all done electronically. We did not suffer the slightest inconvenience, in the least, throughout the sale. Only bummer--we did not get to spend any time with you in person! Just a quick recommendation/review of John Leatherwood as our broker in OBX… First and most important, John is highly professional. You will get to know this quickly after only a couple of inquiries. He will always do what he says and follow up with full and complete information, whether that means responding to emails, text messages, phone calls, or simply driving over to a new property and snapping pictures to review. Second, John listens and he is organized. He was patient to listen for our needs and concerns and then successfully turn that information into actionable suggestions; which is all anyone needs who looks for something they have not yet found, good choices of properties that can work for their family. And he does this by keeping you focused on what is most important to the buyer, i.e.; the view, floor plan, size, or location…he helps keep your thoughts organized. Third, John is highly ethical and clearly explains the process and the laws of North Carolina (we were from IL). Then he makes sure the buying process happens correctly. When you are from out of town looking for that perfect vacation spot, rental, or new family home, he made sure we had all the bases covered. For example, he provided great recommendations/choices for inspectors and legal representation. And each time he provided multiple choices, yet explained what he found of benefit dealing with those particular businesses. Great job. Overall, we would rate John as the best realtor we have ever dealt with. And after moving all around the country, having purchased many homes and business properties that is saying a great deal.
